GLEAM NETWORK ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH CUTTING-EDGE ONLINE MENTORING TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM, eMENTORCONNECT

The partnership sets the path to scale GLEAM’s Mentor Programs to serve more Restaurant and Foodservice Professionals

GLEAM Network, a nonprofit, volunteer-based mentoring and leadership development network comprised of some of the most influential names in the restaurant and foodservice industry is gearing up to launch the organization’s first mentoring program of 2021, this time armed with a powerful tech platform that will allow the organization to more rapidly scale and grow to a global level. “My vision from the inception of GLEAM was to build a world-class mentoring and leadership development organization that was able to offer all programs at low / no cost to the underserved in our industry” says Sanjiv Razdan, Founder, Chair and CEO of GLEAM Network.

With the generosity, knowledge, skill, and experience of our all-volunteer organization and all donors that support GLEAM, Sanjiv’s vision quickly moved from concept to life. Launched in April of 2020, in just 10 short months the organization has served over 200 mentors and mentees and hosted 17+ virtual learning circles helmed by the industry’s most inspiring leaders. “We saw quickly that the demand for our services was even greater than expected” said Sheri Miksa, GLEAM Board Member and Mentoring Committee Chair. “In the beginning, we were hand-matching mentors and mentees over a virtual kitchen table. As we saw the enthusiasm, support and need for GLEAM’s mentor programs in our industry, we knew we needed to invest in mentoring technology to not only automate the matching process but give us a platform to develop personalized content and help us create a truly global mentoring community”.

After meeting with multiple companies, GLEAM Network’s Board of Directors knew eMentorConnect was the perfect partner to support the growing organization.

Nancy Wolk, Co-Founder of eMentorConnect shared her enthusiasm for the partnership. “GLEAM Network is a great organization to bring under the eMentorConnect banner as it builds on one of our key tenets to support the delivery of mentoring programs aimed to advance the Underserved and Underrepresented (U2) groups”.

GLEAM is accepting registrations for the next quarterly cohort of their signature 6-month, structured Mentor Program for Emerging Leaders and Executives until Friday, March 12th at 6PM PST. If you are interested in paying it forward and volunteering as a mentor or if you are a restaurant/foodservice professional looking for a mentor to help you take your career to the next level, GLEAM is inviting you to apply online at www.gleamnetwork.net/mentoring.
